Catherine Arendt is the newest addition to the Health Technologies team. Catherine has joins the ranks as the resident Culinary Specialist with her primary role in development, modification, and quality testing of recipes and ingredients for the Dining Manager Menu System. Catherine was born and raised in St. Louis and in her own words, is happiest “eating my way through the city of St. Louis one meal at a time!” Catherine completed her B.S. at Fontbonne University. With an indescribable passion for nutrition and foodservice, Catherine’s goal is to motivate and guide customers, providing them with the building blocks and tools to create delicious homemade meals for their residents. Working in food production presents new challenges every single day and it takes a dedicated skilled team of individuals to overcome those challenges – Catherine and Health Technologies are on your team too!

Barbara Bardle, RD LD is a veteran Consulting Dietitian and the Director of Menu Services at Health Technologies, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics from the University of Missouri. Barbara applies her field experience as a Consulting Dietitian, which brings tremendous strength and competitive advantage to the Dining Manager menu programs at Health Technologies. Barbara takes great pride in providing high quality menus and menu components to customers as well as sharing menu technology to aid food service managers and maybe even make their jobs a little less stressful. When she’s not assisting menu customers, Barb is spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loves being outdoors, hiking and bird watching.

Cindy Monica is the Menu Technician and Customer Support guru for Health Technologies. Cindy provides comprehensive virtual training for new customers as well as day-to-day technical support for the Dining Manager Menu System. Cindy received her Associates in Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology from Florissant Valley Community College and is a Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Protection Professional. Needing menu help or maybe just a friendly voice? Cindy is a phone call away! In her free time, Cindy is spending time with her family, playing Tripoli, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

  

Carol Sapp, RD LD MBA - President

Carol Sapp is the President of Health Technologies. Since it’s inception in 1994, Carol has led operations and provided leadership oversight for Health Technologies. Carol’s extensive experience in nutrition care management, passions for new technology trends, and focus on resident care create a perfect background for driving innovative services from Health Technologies. Carol is a graduate of Central Missouri State University where she earned her degree in Dietetics. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship at Indiana University and received her MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Carol is an avid skier and is rarely without a quad grande Americano in hand.

Amy is the Director of Development and a food enthusiast. In her dietetic career, Amy has focused in food service management including areas of cost control, staff development, safety, sanitation, and compliance. Amy supports customers across the country with valuable tools and resources such as employee training and compliance review intended to strengthen healthcare business goals for success. Additionally, Amy has a passion for Culture Change; consulting for dining services in healthcare paired with customer service training, employee development, and menu design. Amy holds Bachelor’s degrees in Dietetics and Nutrition and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Dayton, and Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Pennsylvania State University. Amy believes in eating dessert first and enjoys traveling, yoga, and hiking.

Rene has been with Health Technologies from the very beginning in 1994. With more than 30 years of experience, Rene is responsible for accounting procedures at Health Technologies. She is always eager to workout solutions and reconciliations. Rene has been happily married for 34 years. She and her husband have 2 daughters and 3 grandsons. Rene enjoys trying Pinterest recipes and crafts, reading, and spending time with her family.

 

Mary Roberson, RD LD – Regional Clinical Support Manager

Mary is a Regional Clinical Support Manager for Health Technologies. She graduate of Eastern Illinois University and has worked extensively in the long term care. Mary is a tenured Health Technologies dietitian consultant assisting long term care clients as well as consultant dietitians with support. When she’s not tending to the nutritional needs of clients, Mary is busy managing her family’s 266 acre farm in southern Illinois including 30 head of cattle and her 2 sweet puppy dogs.

 

Kim Fremont, RD LD MEd – Vice President, Director of Consulting

Kim has over 33 years of experience in all aspects of nutritional care and food services in both long term care and acute care settings. As the Vice President of Health Technologies, Kim is responsible for overseeing consulting services including hiring, training and coordination of the Health Technologies consultant dietitian network. Kim’s passions include training and education to assist RDs and clients in providing the very best in dining services. Kim’s background includes a Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a Master’s in Education and Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois at Edwardsville. Kim has been a featured speaker at numerous local, state and national healthcare conferences and authored numerous publications in use at HTI today. Kim loves cooking for her friends and family as well as boating and skiing.
