Pop Up Activities

What’s an activity without food? Really think about that. Now consider the impact of food service beyond just serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner every day.

Food related activities help to promote social time with residents in Long Term Care as well as good nutrition and overall health.

Consider these food activities:

  • Personal Pizza
  • Cupcake decorating
  • Making butter or ice cream
  • Kneading bread dough
  • Smoothies and milkshakes
  • Tea party
  • And more!

Bring the kitchen to your residents: consider showing off your talents too – cooking demonstrations with the residents can make meal times more interactive and exciting.

Looking to introduce a new recipe or product? Let your customers try it first! Taste testing is fun and interactive. Pass out score cards or allow the vote on their favorites.

Residents will always enjoy the opportunity to eat and play!
